It is very critical to understand the type and texture of your relaxed hair to be able to nourish it. For those with thick kinky hair, it might be getting difficult to manage your hair. Follow these 5 easy steps to detangle relaxed hair and see the difference!

Step 1

Post application of your TCB Naturals No Base Crème Relaxer, rinse hair thoroughly with warm water.

Step 2

Use a good neutralising shampoo to wash off the relaxer completely.

Step 3

If your hair is pretty dry, apply natural coconut oil such as TCB Naturals Coconut Oil to strengthen the roots. Use your fingertips to gently massage your scalp in clock-wise / anti-clockwise movement. Next, run your fingers gently holding onto a few hair strands from the top to the tip.

Step 4

Wash your hair using a good shampoo. Apply a good leave-in product such as TCB Naturals Deep Penetrating Treatment which is enriched with shea butter and coconut oil to help retain moisture. Thereby leaving your hair feeling healthy and smooth. Retry detangling your relaxed hair with your fingers. Avoid using a comb. Let your hair get moisturised thoroughly. Pat dry your hair with a towel and use your fingers to detangle your smooth tresses now.

Step 5

Repeat this process when you re-apply the relaxer after six weeks.
