Children should never associate healthy hair with pain. Taking some time out and making their wash day fun will teach them to take care of their tresses tenderly in the future and keep the tears away. Here are some hair washing tips to make your little one’s wash day cry free.
1. Don’t Comb While Dry
Combing or brushing their hair while it is dry can be disastrous. It not only increases the chance of breakage but also is extremely painful for your kids. After shampooing, apply TCB Naturals Leave-In Treatment in their hair so the comb easily glides through. Moreover, the leave-in treatment will also moisturise and fortify their hair.
2. Use Proper Tools
Your child has thin hair and a sensitive scalp so make sure you use the right tools. Use a wide toothed comb to gently detangle their locs or just use your fingers. Start from the ends and slowly go up to the roots.
3. Focus On Small Sections
Make the baby lie backwards on the counter and make sure she/he is comfortable. This way you will be able to focus on their hair and make sure no product enters their eyes. Create small sections and focus on one area at a time. Use a spray nozzle to properly rinse out the entire product. Do not forget use lukewarm water, extremely hot water can ruin their hair health.
